How to Use This Site

The main purpose of FreeCalc.Com is to provide a single resource location to help technical professionals conduct the day-to-day calculations and related tasks involved in designing, maintaining, and constructing industrial and commercial projects and facilities.

The E-commerce possibilities of this site are outlined in the Pharmaceutical Online article "Taking E-commerce to the Next Level for the Pharmaceutical Industry"

Technical Applications for Day-to-Day Calculations

The applications provided here automate and simplify many of the calculations you now do by hand or using complicated programs. Gone is the necessity to have many technical programs with different interfaces, steep learning curves, and capabilities that you will never really use. The applications offered on FreeCalc.Com will not replace the high-powered capabilities offered in process simulators, pipe stress analysis programs, or structural analysis programs. These specialized programs still best handle these complicated tasks. But how much of your day-to-day tasks really involve these high-powered applications. In reality most of the calculations you do everyday are fairly simple, you just need a quick source of this technical information that is easy to use. FreeCalc.Com is that source. No more digging through for articles in your files or technical books, FreeCalc.Com will have them all here and preprogrammed so that all the math is done for you.

To do this we provide interactive technical applications written in JavaScript. Since they are written in this script, they are accessible to all users by just using their browser. These applications come in two types.

General Calculations

Many tasks and calculations done every day are not directly associated with a purchase of equipment, but are needed to support the design, maintenance, or construction of your facility. To make this site a complete one-stop-shopping location for your use these applications are also available. Examples of these type of applications would be: gas and liquid flow friction losses, tank draining times, tank partial volumes, weld properties, properties of solids, etc.

Application Format

All the applications on FreeCalc.Com are presented in basically the same format. This is done to limit the learning curve for our users.
